Terms of service
Last updated 4 November 2026
1. The service
ReRig Cloud rents out whole computers ("PCs") that you use over the internet. Each PC is rented to one customer at a time. You get the specification shown on the listing when you paid.
2. Who can rent
You must be 18 or older. Before we hand over a PC, you give us a valid government ID, your address, phone number and email, and tell us what you will use the PC for. Indian law (the CERT-In directions of 28 April 2022) requires hosting providers to collect and keep these details. We can refuse or end the service if the details are false.
3. Payment and renewal
Plans are paid monthly in advance, by UPI or bank transfer. To continue, pay for the next month before the current one ends. If you don't, we switch the PC off when the plan ends, keep your disk for 3 days in case you renew, and then securely erase it.
4. Cancellation and refunds
There is no lock-in: you stop by not renewing. We don't refund unused days of a paid period, except as described in section 5, or when we end your service without a breach on your side. In that case you get the unused days back.
5. Uptime and downtime credits
We aim to keep your PC running 24×7.
- If your PC is unavailable for more than 30 minutes at a time because of us (hardware, power or our internet), we add the lost time back to your plan.
- If we can't fix a hardware fault within 24 hours, we move you to a PC of equal or better specification, or refund the unused days.
- Not covered: maintenance announced at least 24 hours ahead (at most 4 hours a month), problems with your own internet or devices, and problems caused by what you run or change on the PC.
6. Your data and backups
The PC and its disk are for your use only. We don't look at your files or sessions. We access the PC only to fix a problem you report, to stop abuse described in section 7, or when the law requires it.
You are responsible for backing up your work. Hardware can fail and data can be lost. When your rental ends, we securely erase the disk.
7. Acceptable use
You must not use the PC for anything illegal under Indian law, or to:
- attack, scan, or break into other systems or networks;
- send spam or phishing, or run scam, fraud or illegal gambling sites;
- store or share pirated software or media, or any child sexual abuse material;
- run open proxies or VPN services for other people;
- rent the PC out to someone else without our written permission.
You need valid licences for the software you install. We can suspend the PC immediately, without a refund, if we see such use or receive a credible complaint. We cooperate with lawful requests from Indian authorities.
8. Liability
We provide the PCs with reasonable care. As far as the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid for the current plan period. We are not liable for lost profits, lost data or indirect losses.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Changes apply from your next renewal, and we tell active customers on WhatsApp first.
10. Law and contact
These terms are governed by Indian law. Disputes go to the courts of India. Questions: message us on WhatsApp.
