Who we are

ReRig sells pre-owned gaming PCs (rerig.tech) and, as ReRig Cloud, rents out dedicated GPU PCs hosted in India (cloud.rerig.tech). You can reach us on WhatsApp about anything in this policy.

What we collect

• Contact details and messages: your name, phone number and what you send us on WhatsApp.
• Verification (KYC): a government ID, your address, email and the purpose of the rental. Indian law requires hosting providers to collect these.
• Rental and payment records: which PC you rented, for how long, and your payments.
• Technical logs: when you connected and from which IP address, and the security logs of our network. We don't record what's on your screen or in your files.
• Our websites, through Meta: both sites use the Meta Pixel. Meta receives the pages you visit, which PCs you looked at, and whether you tapped a WhatsApp button, together with your browser details and Meta's own cookies. We use this to measure and improve our Facebook and Instagram ads. You can control this in your Facebook ad settings or by blocking third-party cookies.
• Our websites, on our own server: our server records each visit and each WhatsApp tap: the time, your IP address, your browser type, the page, and which ad link brought you there. We use this only to count visits and see which ads work.
• Forms: the enquiry form isn't stored on our side. It just opens a WhatsApp message for you to send.

Why we use it

To provide and bill the service, to meet our legal duties, to keep our machines and network secure, and to measure our ads. We don't sell your data.

How long we keep it

• KYC and rental records: 5 years after your rental ends, as the CERT-In directions of 28 April 2022 require.
• Technical logs: 180 days, kept in India, as the same directions require.
• Website visit logs on our server: 90 days.
• Files on your rented PC: securely erased when your rental ends (after the 3-day grace period in our terms).

Who we share it with

Indian authorities when the law requires it; banks and payment apps to process payments; and Meta, through WhatsApp and the Meta Pixel. Nobody else.

How we protect it

We store ID copies encrypted, and only the people who run ReRig Cloud can open them.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, and complain to us about how we handle it. We'll reply within 30 days. Records the law requires us to keep can't be deleted until that period ends.
